Gran Premi de Catalunya 2025 event description
It really has it all: one of the top tracks in MotoGP in Barcelona - a city that is 10 years ahead of any other city in Europe; super facilities, great weather, easy to fly to and reasonable prices.
The circuit is brilliant for riders and spectators. The track always throws unique challenges to the teams and riders: a rough and bumpy surface, high tyre-wear and rapidly changing wind conditions which turn both the preparation and riding into a war of strategy and endurance.
Witnessing the on-circuit duelling is great from most viewpoints. We recommend the north loop - B/G/C where riders like to show off after winning. Our favourite spot is stand H with views to both the loop and the final corner. This has a particularly nice VIP Village as well – with great facilities and just over the start grid. This circuit has some of the best facilities overall of the tournament, and is a very well-organised event; having won the coveted IRTA 'best event' award 3 times (only Brno has matched this record). This year we have a very special hospitality suite, with paddock access on shared basis!*
Team Experiences are very popular here, both at MotoGP level and our own Pole Position Club. Strongly recommend the Saturday MotoGP night dinner (included with MotoGP Team experiences*, optional for all customers)
Try to make time to explore the city. This is the city of Gaudi and dozens of other splendours. But it is also one of the most modern and stylish cities in the world.
In Barcelona our City and Deluxe packages are in the heart of the city, and both feature secure garage parking. Our 2 packages: a 3*+ City and a top notch Deluxe in a 5* hotel. You may now also opt for an upgraded hotel in our City 4* package. All come with our circuit transfer service on Sat/Sun, guides (Spanish speaking) and our Catalunya merchandise.
Saturday night we are hosting a great MotoGP NIght dinner in the paddock, or you may just chill over tapas in Barcelona. Our Sunday night closing dinner at a brilliant local Argentine steak house is always a hit.
And stay an extra day to enjoy the MotoGP official Test* Monday! Staying an extra day or two in Barcelona isn't a hardship!
