Ruche Moodley first rode a motorcycle at just five years old before beginning his racing career in Motocross, eventually making the switch over to tarmac. Moodley raced in South Africa before making the move to Europe, joining the European Talent Cup in 2021, learning and adapting to the new circuits, with a best result of ninth. The South African continued to impress, soon earning a spot on the Red Bull MotoGP™ Rookies Cup grid for the 2022 season. In 2023, the South African claimed his first podium in the European Talent Cup, with a successful campaign earning him a ride in the JuniorGP™ class at the final round. His promising performance led to a full-time JuniorGP™ ride in 2024, paving his way onto the 2025 Moto3™ World Championship grid after signing a deal with BOE Motorsports.

Our take: Pole Position Travel has a long history of supporting riders from South Africa, starting with Brad Binder in 2009 as he joined the red Bull Rookies. We have also been behind Brad's brother Darryn as well as SA rider Steven Odendaal So we were keeping an eye on young Ruche Moodley as he progressed through the Red Bull Rookies, making a very fine show. We were delighted to learn he had achieved a ride in Moto3 for the 2025 season with the excellent BOE Motorsports and we are proud to be supporters and especially to introduce this young talent to our super enthusiastic South African fans!

Apart from a superb racer, Ruche's easy going charm and friendliness will win over all the fans he meets!

Supporters may book a weekend at any event as a guest of Ruche in the paddock and behind the scenes! Help support young talent!

Ruche in action!
