The Comis Resort is a golf hotel and spa and unquestionably the most luxurious hotel on the Island. It is set about 7 km from Douglas, however we put our guide in the hotel with a van to take you around the island every day and run you into town in the evenings if you wish. (You will be able to return with the van or we will give you our exclusive taxi company number for convenient service 24/7)
The hotel is newly restored to an impeccable standard, with a luxury spa, heated indoor pool, gym, two restaurants, champagne bar and of course a golf course (book extra nights for that as we won't give you too much time for golf! :-) Needless to say, the rooms are sublime - superior to those used in our Douglas hotels!
As the home of sponsors Monster and several top teams, you will be rubbing shoulders with the elite of the TT!
And if we can drag you away from the luxury, we take you to:
- Monday night our Riders' dinner (top table of course)
- Tuesday we visit a classic 'hedgerow' [and with the van can move partway through if wish]
- Wednesday you are VIP guest of our partner sidecar team (led by TT champion pilot Ben Birchall and hosted by multiple sidecar winner Klaus Klaffenbock)
- Thursday we take a guided tour of the track narrated by one of our sponsored TT racers with lunch at the famous Creg-ny-ba,
- Friday we gather at one of the most celebrated pubs on the course - the Ginger Hall - where we will be joined by a guest host (Steve Parrish and Glenn Irwin in past)
- Saturday you may opt to view Senior Race Day from the grandstands, or our private terrace on the Creg-ny-ba, or the VIP Mercury Club, or the very top of the tree, the VIP Legends Club
- Sunday you may optionally stay for our tour of lovely Castletown and the South or we can take you back to the airport (or stay for that golf & spa!)
We will collect your from the airport (and return if you need)
Our experienced guide will be on hand at all times - running into town in the events and generally ensuring you have a truly VIP experience!
